The project involved creating Rentivo, a circular economy platform for baby gear, as an MVP in Santiago de Chile. With a team of five, we built an online platform and a working rental service, testing market fit and demand. Despite being an early-stage concept, we successfully attracted parents and gathered insights on rental trends.

1. Research
We interviewed several parents. We realized that our first idea did not solve any pain points. As a consequence, we pivoted to providing babies' gear.

2. Analyze
From the interviews we created personas. We used them to create our identity, and the tone of voice, but also for the development of our platform

3. Develop
We decided to use an existing platform (Shopify) to test and iterate our service. It allowed us to understand which products were more attractive and to do a quick test.

Features adaptation:
Because it was a renting service, we had to adapt some features from Shopify. For example, we needed to be able to select a period. In this case, I worked closely with our CTO and a front-end developer.

4. Launch & Test
First, we conducted on-site user testing. After the launch, we used Hotjar to monitor users and kept iterating.
During the last phase, we had our first clients and we continue validating our product market fit.

Result
Rentivo was selected as the #1 startup during the Startup Chile program.
